In the past 24 hours, 2,124 migrant families have returned to Afghanistan from Iran and Pakistan, marking a significant influx of returnees.
Kokcha News Agency: According to the latest reports, 2,124 migrant families have returned to Afghanistan from Iran and Pakistan within the last 24 hours. The returnees entered the country through various border crossings:
- Islam Qala, Herat: 1,709 families
- Abrisham Bridge, Nimroz: 305 families
- Torkham, Nangarhar: 76 families
- Spin Boldak, Kandahar: 34 families
This wave of returnees highlights the ongoing challenges faced by Afghan migrants in neighboring countries, as well as the efforts to facilitate their safe return to Afghanistan.
