Taliban Claims End of Hostility, Calls for Unity and Reconstruction
The Taliban's Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation announced that Mullah Abdul Kabir, the acting minister, met with Farid Mamundzai, the last ambassador of the previous government to India, in Kabul, signaling a push for national unity and reconstruction under Taliban rule.

Kokcha News Agency: The Taliban’s Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation issued a statement on Sunday, August 26, revealing that Mullah Abdul Kabir, the acting minister, held a meeting with Farid Mamundzai, the former ambassador to India, in Kabul. Mamundzai pledged to provide any possible assistance to the people of Afghanistan, while Kabir emphasized that Afghanistan is the shared home of all Afghans, urging citizens to return to their homeland with confidence.
Kabir further stated that under the Taliban’s general amnesty, no one would be questioned about their past roles, and no one would dare to do so. He asserted that the Taliban government is responsible for ensuring the security of every citizen and that the unity of Afghans and the country’s reconstruction under Sharia law are top priorities for the Taliban.
The Taliban also claimed that hostility towards their rule has ended, and Afghanistan will no longer pose any threat to the world.
