Saleh to Khalilzad: Doha Agreement Turned Afghanistan into a “Zombie Museum”

Kokcha News Agency – Amrullah Saleh, former Vice President of Afghanistan, has strongly condemned the public display of a young man’s body in Herat, describing it as a scene reminiscent of a “zombie museum.”
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Saleh lamented that Herat, once one of Afghanistan’s most important cultural centers, has now become a scene of violence. He criticized Zalmay Khalilzad, the U.S. negotiator of the Doha Agreement, accusing him of acting as a “Taliban ambassador” in Washington by promoting Afghanistan as a suitable place for investment, despite the stark reality on the ground.
Saleh emphasized that the Doha Agreement and Khalilzad’s role have led to violence, terror, and the public display of bodies, stating that the young man was a victim of the struggle for freedom and opposition to the Taliban.
