Trump Exerts Heavy Pressure on Netanyahu to End Gaza War

Kokcha News Agency: Sky News, citing two informed sources, has reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is exerting serious pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to end the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.

A U.S. official also told the network that Washington’s pressure on Tel Aviv to accept a ceasefire agreement in Gaza has begun and will reach its peak tonight. This comes as Trump’s two-week deadline for Iran to negotiate with the U.S. is set to expire tonight.

In a statement, Netanyahu indicated that Israel is close to reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, referencing a proposal put forward by the U.S. envoy. Netanyahu arrived at the White House for his second meeting with Trump, where the focus is expected to be on ending the Gaza conflict.

The pressure from the U.S. administration highlights the urgency of resolving the crisis in Gaza, which has caused significant humanitarian suffering and international concern.
