Starmer emphasized that, alongside these immediate actions, steps toward building a lasting peace will also be coordinated.
He clearly affirmed that the formation of a Palestinian state is an inalienable right for the Palestinian people and that a ceasefire would pave the way for the recognition of a Palestinian state and the realization of a two-state solution. Starmer added that this solution would guarantee peace and security for both Palestinians and Israelis.
