Israeli Forces Intercept Gaza-Bound Aid Ship Handala

The Israeli military has intervened to stop the Handala aid ship, which was en route to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. Footage captured the moment Israeli soldiers boarded the ship, which was then towed to the port of Ashdod.

The Handala, carrying 21 volunteers and crew members, is part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition’s efforts to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza. The activists on board are expected to be deported following the interception.
