UN Security Council Postpones Meeting on Israel’s Gaza Occupation Plan

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has delayed its emergency meeting on Israel’s decision to fully occupy Gaza, moving the session to Sunday, August 10.

Kokcha News Agency– The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has postponed its emergency meeting on Israel’s decision to fully occupy Gaza, rescheduling the session to Sunday, August 10. Originally planned for today, the meeting was delayed without an official explanation.

The request for the emergency session came from all UNSC members except the United States and Panama, following Israel’s approval of a plan to fully occupy Gaza. The Israeli Security Cabinet had approved the plan on Thursday evening, sparking widespread international concern.

The United States had been insistent on avoiding the meeting, opposing the discussion of Israel’s decision. The delay comes amid growing global criticism of Israel’s move, with many countries warning of severe humanitarian consequences and violations of international law.
