Kokcha News Agency:In a high-profile meeting, former U.S. President Donald Trump and South Korean President Moon Jae-in discussed the possibility of a summit between Seoul and Pyongyang to address the long-standing conflict on the Korean Peninsula.
Trump suggested that such a meeting could pave the way for renewed diplomatic efforts between the two Koreas.
Moon Jae-in expressed optimism about Trump’s potential role as a peacemaker in the region, stating that he hopes one day a skyscraper named “Trump Tower” will be built in North Korea, where Trump could play golf.
The South Korean president also expressed confidence that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un would be “waiting” to meet with Trump again, emphasizing the importance of dialogue in resolving the peninsula’s issues.
The meeting highlighted the ongoing efforts to reduce tensions and foster cooperation between the two Koreas, with both leaders acknowledging the need for continued diplomatic engagement.
