According to a new survey conducted by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics, more than one-third of businesses in Israel faced a sharp drop in revenue as a result of the recent 12-day conflict with Iran.
The survey asked companies, “To what extent has your company’s revenue in June been affected by the war with Israel compared to normal conditions?”
The results show that approximately 36% of businesses experienced a revenue decline of more than 50% in June, with 22% of companies reporting a drop of over 76%. Only 17% of businesses stated that the war had no impact on their monthly income.
The food and beverage industry was hit particularly hard, with around 65% of businesses reporting a revenue decrease of more than 50%. In this sector, only 7% of companies said the war did not affect their June earnings.
