Former CIA Analyst: Israel Would Not Survive Without the US

Larry Johnson, a former CIA analyst, has made a stark assessment of Israel’s military capabilities, stating that the country would not be able to sustain itself without U.S. support. “Frankly, Israel would probably have to surrender within two weeks and seek a peace agreement with Iran if the United States did not step in,” Johnson said.

Johnson highlighted that while Israel has attacked several targets in Iran and caused some damage, it is akin to “a mosquito biting an elephant.” Iran is three times the size of Ukraine and has three times the population, making Israel highly vulnerable on multiple fronts.

The analyst’s comments underscore the strategic dependence of Israel on U.S. military and financial support, particularly in the context of its ongoing tensions with Iran.
