Deputy Health Minister of Iran: 5,750 Injured and 1,064 Surgeries in 12-Day War with Israel

Kokcha News Agency: Seyed Sajjad Razavi, Deputy Minister of Health for Treatment Affairs in Iran, revealed the latest statistics on casualties and injuries from the 12-day war with Israel during a press conference today. He stated, “In the attacks by Israel on Iran, 5,750 people were injured, and 1,064 surgeries have been performed so far. Most of the injured have been discharged.”

Razavi added, “Currently, 170 people are hospitalized, with 75 of them receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).”

He also emphasized that the Ministry of Health is on full alert in terms of providing medical and health services. Razavi said, “The official statements from the country’s authorities are our criteria for action, and no official warning has been issued regarding upcoming crises.”
