Kokcha News: In a stark warning, American analyst Will Schryver took to X (formerly Twitter) to assert that the United States is incapable of fighting a “great war” against Russia or China, either individually or simultaneously, in the near or distant future. Schryver stated, “The United States cannot fight a great war against Russia or China now, in 2027, or in 2037, let alone against both at the same time.”
Schryver emphasized that the U.S. must pursue peace because it has “no viable alternative.” His comments come after General Alexus Grinkevich, Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO, warned of the possibility of a war between NATO and a combined force of China and Russia by 2027.
Russia has repeatedly expressed concerns over NATO’s growing activities near its borders, describing them as unprecedented. While NATO claims these activities are for “deterrence,” Russian President Vladimir Putin insists that Russia has no plans to attack NATO and accuses the West of using the “Russian threat” to divert attention from domestic issues.
– U.S. Military Capability: Schryver argues that the U.S. lacks the capacity to engage in a large-scale conflict with Russia or China, either now or in the future.
– NATO’s Role: General Grinkevich’s warning of a potential NATO war with China and Russia by 2027 adds to the growing concerns about global security.
– Russian Perspective: Russia views NATO’s expansion as a threat, while Putin maintains that the West is using Russia as a scapegoat for its internal problems.
As tensions between global powers continue to rise, analysts like Schryver warn that the U.S. must prioritize diplomacy and peace, as it is ill-prepared for a large-scale conflict with Russia or China.
