Kokcha News Agency: The United States and Israel are planning to establish a joint scientific center focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum technology by 2026.
The project, with a $200 million budget, will have two main hubs in Tel Aviv and Arlington, and its goals extend beyond scientific progress.
The initiative is led by retired Brigadier General **Tamir Hayman** and Dr. **Samdar Itskovich**, and it is designed to act as a new geopolitical arm in the region.
The center will focus on areas such as cybersecurity, genetic medicine, food security, and digital infrastructure. Dr. Itskovich stated that the ultimate goal of the project is to “reshape the Middle East through science and technology.”
The project’s designers claim that this alliance is a response to the growing technological influence of China, Iran, and Russia in emerging technologies.
Additionally, the project aims to foster tech diplomacy with Arab countries to strengthen regional cooperation in these fields.
