US Secretary of State Marco Rubio Warns Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shara’s Cabinet Over Recent Escalation in Southern Syria

Kokcha News Agency: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has warned the Syrian government that if it wants to maintain the possibility of achieving a united, inclusive, and peaceful Syria free from ISIS and Iranian influence, it must use its security forces to prevent the entry of ISIS and other extremist groups into the region and stop the ongoing violence.

Rubio emphasized that the Syrian government must take decisive action to secure the southern regions of the country, where recent clashes have escalated. He stressed that allowing extremist groups to operate freely in the area would not only destabilize Syria further but also undermine efforts to achieve a lasting peace in the region.
