Trump Accuses Obama of Treason and Coup Attempt, Demands Trial

U.S. President Donald Trump has accused his predecessor, Barack Obama, of treason and attempting a coup, calling for his prosecution. Trump also announced plans to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the near future.

Kokcha News Agency: In a fiery statement, U.S. President Donald Trump has leveled serious accusations against former President Barack Obama, alleging treason and a coup attempt during the 2016 election. Trump demanded that Obama be prosecuted, claiming that he led a conspiracy to undermine his presidency.

Trump’s accusations come in the wake of a report released by U.S. National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, which alleged that the Obama administration fabricated intelligence suggesting Russian interference in the 2016 election to benefit Trump.

Trump described the alleged actions as “the biggest scandal in our country’s history” and called on the Department of Justice to take action against Obama and other high-ranking officials from his administration, including Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and John Brennan.

In addition to his attacks on Obama, Trump announced that he plans to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping soon, following an invitation from the Chinese leader. “Xi invited me to China, and we will likely meet in the near future,” Trump said.

Trump also took aim at Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, criticizing him for not lowering interest rates. He called Powell a “bonehead” and suggested that the Fed’s policies were politically motivated. “He’s done a bad job, but he’s leaving soon anyway. His term is up in eight months,” Trump remarked.
