American Doctor in Gaza: Crisis Resembles World War II

An American doctor in Gaza has described the humanitarian crisis as “catastrophic,” comparing the levels of hunger and suffering to those seen during World War II.

Kokcha News Agency: An American doctor currently working in Gaza has painted a grim picture of the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the region, stating that the levels of hunger and malnutrition are reminiscent of conditions during World War II.

The doctor highlighted the severe malnutrition affecting many residents, particularly children, whose sunken eyes and gaunt faces are clear indicators of their suffering. “The situation here is catastrophic in terms of the hunger people are enduring,” the doctor said.

The ongoing conflict in Gaza has led to a severe humanitarian crisis, with limited access to food, medical supplies, and basic necessities. The doctor’s comments underscore the dire conditions faced by civilians, particularly vulnerable groups like children and the elderly.
