Indian PM Modi Warns Pakistan: BrahMos Missiles Will Destroy Terrorists

Kokcha News Agency: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a rally in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, emphasized India’s growing defense capabilities. He claimed that the world witnessed the power of India’s indigenous weapons, the effectiveness of its air defense systems, and the success of its drones during the “Sindoor Operation.”

Modi stated that the BrahMos missile has “instilled fear in India’s enemies” and noted that many defense firms have set up production facilities in Uttar Pradesh, making locally produced weapons the backbone of the military.

He also announced that BrahMos missiles will soon be produced in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, and warned, “If Pakistan takes any misstep, BrahMos missiles will destroy terrorists.”

BrahMos Missile with a Range of 400 km:
The BrahMos missile is a joint venture between India’s Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Russia’s NPO Mashinostroyenia. It can be launched from land, sea, and air platforms, offering a range of up to 400 kilometers.

India-Pakistan Conflict:
Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after India launched missile strikes on Pakistani territory and Azad Kashmir on May 6, in retaliation for a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, which killed 26 people.

The two countries declared a ceasefire on May 10, mediated by the United States.
