White House: No Third Party in Trump-Putin Meeting

Kokcha News Agency: The White House has confirmed that the upcoming meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will be held in Anchorage, Alaska. The high-level diplomatic meeting between the two leaders is scheduled for Friday, as previously confirmed by White House officials.

The White House also stated that no third party will be involved in the Putin-Trump meeting.

“A Listening Exercise”:
The White House further clarified that the meeting will serve as “a listening exercise” for the president and that a quick Russia-Ukraine ceasefire should not be expected. White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt noted that only one side of the war will be present at the meeting, saying, “He wants to better understand how the war can be ended.”

It was also mentioned that Trump will meet Putin one-on-one and may visit Russia in the future. Trump suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky could be invited to a future meeting with Putin.
