Gunmen Attack Mosque in Nigeria: At Least 27 Dead

Kokcha News Agency: Armed assailants stormed a mosque in Unguwan Mantau village, Malumfashi district, Katsina state, early in the morning at around 4:00 AM. The attackers entered the mosque and opened fire on worshippers during prayer.

Local authorities confirmed that at least 27 people lost their lives, with many others sustaining injuries.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and no group has claimed responsibility yet.

This incident adds to the growing insecurity in northern Nigeria, where such violent attacks have become increasingly frequent.
