Israel Sends Warning to Iran: New KC-46 Tankers on the Way

Kokcha News Agency – Israel is enhancing its long-range strike capabilities against Iran by purchasing two more Boeing KC-46 aerial refueling tankers, as part of a $500 million deal with Boeing. According to Israeli media outlet Ynet News, this move will expand Israel’s fleet of KC-46 tankers to six.

The report stated that the acquisition is intended to “enable sustained air operations deep inside Iranian territory and shorten future combat sorties against Tehran.” The new KC-46s will replace the current refueling fleet, which has been used in attacks on Houthi rebels in Yemen and during the 12-day war with Iran.

According to Israel’s Channel 12, during the June conflict, the Israeli Air Force achieved air superiority over Iran.

Israel-Iran Conflict:
On June 13, Israel launched a surprise wave of attacks on Iran’s military and nuclear sites, resulting in the deaths of 1,062 people, including 276 civilians. In retaliation, Iran’s strikes killed 31 civilians in Israel.

Despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire, both Iran and Israel’s armed forces continue to prepare for potential new confrontations.
