Kokcha News Agency: Israeli and American sources have confirmed that initial talks about U.S. President Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to Israel have started. According to the Israeli news outlet i24, this visit, if realized, will be Trump’s first trip to Israel during his second presidential term.
Trump previously visited Israel in May 2017 during his first term, spending two days in the country. During that visit, he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and then-President Reuven Rivlin. Trump also held talks with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas during that trip.
Three Meetings at the White House
In May 2025, Trump made his first Middle East visit during his second term, but Israel was not part of that itinerary.
Since January, Trump and Netanyahu have met three times at the White House. During their February meeting, Trump announced an evacuation plan for Gaza. They met again in April and July.
