Gaza Death Toll Rises by 76 in Last 24 Hours, Reaching 62,895
Kokcha News Agency: The Gaza Health Ministry has released the latest figures on casualties resulting from Israel’s ongoing attacks on the Gaza Strip. In the last 24 hours, 76 more Palestinians have been killed, bringing the total death toll to 62,895 since October 7, 2023.
According to the ministry, 298 people were injured in the same period, with hospitals in the Gaza Strip overwhelmed by the influx of casualties. Since Israel broke the ceasefire on March 18, 11,050 Palestinians have been killed, and 46,886 have been injured in the relentless bombardment.
In the last 24 hours, 18 Palestinians were killed and 106 injured in attacks targeting civilians waiting for humanitarian aid. Systematic attacks on aid distribution points, allegedly coordinated by Israel and the U.S., have resulted in the deaths of 2,158 Palestinians and injuries to 15,843 since May 27.
The overall death toll from Israel’s attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has now reached 62,895, with 158,927 injured.
The health ministry also reported that 10 people, including children, died in Gaza hospitals in the last 24 hours due to malnutrition and starvation. The total number of starvation-related deaths has risen to 313, with 119 of them being children.
