Netanyahu Targets Belgian PM Over Recognition of Palestinian State
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever of being a "weak leader" following Belgium's decision to recognize the State of Palestine.

Kokcha News Agency: Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, has lashed out at Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever, calling him a “weak leader” after Belgium announced its decision to recognize the State of Palestine.
In a statement released by Netanyahu’s press office, the Israeli leader criticized De Wever’s decision, claiming it undermined the peace process in the region. The statement also included a series of accusations regarding Belgium’s move, suggesting it would have negative consequences.
This decision by Belgium comes as several other Western countries have recently recognized the State of Palestine, putting additional pressure on Netanyahu.
Belgium made the announcement following an extraordinary cabinet meeting focused on sanctions against Israel and the recognition of Palestine.
