Trump Accuses George Soros of Funding Street Protests, Calls for Investigation
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he believes billionaire George Soros is behind recent street protests and has called for an investigation under the RICO Act, which targets organized crime. Trump claims Soros is responsible for funding, educating, and radicalizing young people, as well as inciting terrorism and extremism.

Kokcha News Agency – During an appearance on Fox News, U.S. President Donald Trump made striking allegations about the recent surge in protests across the country, some of which have turned violent.
Trump accused billionaire George Soros of being the financier behind these demonstrations and announced that the Department of Justice would launch an investigation under the RICO Act, a law typically used to combat organized crime, including money laundering, bribery, and extortion.
Trump described the protests as not being “ordinary” but rather a “real provocation,” suggesting that some protesters could be “paid agitators.” He emphasized that Soros is allegedly responsible for funding, educating, and radicalizing young people, as well as inciting terrorism and extremism.
This is not the first time Trump has targeted Soros. In recent weeks, Trump has accused the 95-year-old billionaire and his son of supporting violent acts and called for them to be prosecuted. Soros, a major donor to the Democratic Party, contributed $128.5 million to Democrats during the 2022 midterm elections. His son, Alex Soros, chairs the Open Society Foundations.
Trump’s accusations against Soros resurfaced following the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed in a shooting at an event in Utah. In a statement from the Oval Office, Trump said, “The radical left’s hate speech has been leading to murders for years. This must end now.”
