Kokcha News Agency: The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has received reports of an explosion near the waters of Aden, Yemen, approximately 120 miles offshore. According to Reuters, the captain of a ship in the area reported hearing the explosion, though the vessel and its crew remain safe and are continuing their journey to the designated port.

This incident comes amid heightened tensions in the Red Sea, where Yemen’s armed forces have targeted ships linked to Israel in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza over the past two years.
