Death Toll in Israel’s Attacks on Gaza Rises to 66,225

Kokcha News Agency – The Gaza Health Ministry has released updated figures on the casualties from Israel’s relentless attacks on the Gaza Strip.

In the last 24 hours, 77 Palestinians were killed and 222 were injured, bringing the total death toll to 66,225 and the number of injured to 168,938 since October 7, 2023.

Since Israel broke the ceasefire on March 18, 13,357 Palestinians have been killed, and 56,897 have been injured. Additionally, systematic attacks on Palestinians at Israel-US-controlled aid distribution points have resulted in 2,582 deaths and 18,974 injuries since May 27.

The Health Ministry also noted that thousands of bodies remain buried under the rubble in Gaza, with rescue efforts severely hampered by ongoing bombardment and destruction.
