Israel Kills 254 Journalists in Gaza to Conceal Genocide

Israel has killed 254 journalists in Gaza since October 7, 2023, targeting those who expose its atrocities to the world, according to reports from the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ).

Kokcha News Agency — Since October 7, 2023, Israel has ruthlessly killed 254 journalists in Gaza in an attempt to silence the truth and conceal its ongoing genocide.

These journalists, who were documenting the atrocities, have been targeted while performing their duties, often in the most brutal ways.

Many journalists lost their lives while covering the conflict, with some witnessing their colleagues die in front of them.

Others were injured, lost limbs, or saw their families torn apart by Israeli attacks. In one shocking incident, Israel even bombed a tent where journalists were staying, killing several media workers.

According to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), Israel has become the deadliest country for journalists in 2024, with 70% of journalists killed globally being targeted in Gaza.

Israel’s tactics go beyond killing journalists; it also detains them, shuts down media offices, and confiscates equipment. Despite these efforts, the media in Gaza continues to operate under dire conditions, documenting Israel’s crimes and sharing them with the world.
