According to KOKCHANEWS’s reporter on Sunday, the Public Relations Department of the Pakistani Army announced today in a statement that it had thwarted the movements of terrorist elements affiliated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan group to infiltrate the country from the Afghan border.
The Pakistani army said in a statement: This conspiracy of infiltration of terrorists is taking place when the delegations of Pakistan and Afghanistan are engaged in negotiations in Turkey, and this calls into question the intentions of the interim government of Afghanistan in relation to addressing the issue of terrorism arising from its territory.
The Pakistani army added that the country has consistently asked the Afghan Taliban to ensure effective border management on their border and expects them to fulfill their commitments in the Doha agreement and prevent the Kharijites from using Afghanistan’s soil against Pakistan.
The statement said: 5 members of the Pakistani army lost their lives in the operation to prevent the infiltration of terrorists from Afghan territory, and at least 25 terrorists were also killed.
These two operations were carried out in the areas of North Waziristan and Kurram, and 4 suicide bombers were among the killed terrorists.
