Kokche News Agency reports that 28-year-old Bulgarian woman Andrea Ivanova has spent over 20,000 pounds on lip fillers in her quest for the perfect look. Despite her efforts, she now faces medical complications, with some healthcare professionals refusing to treat her. Recently, Ivanova broke a tooth while eating hazelnut chocolate and described experiencing unbearable pain.
She explained, “The pain is unbearable. Dentists didn’t give any clear explanation; they just said they wouldn’t treat me because my big lips interfere with their work. They said my lips limit their access.” As a professional nurse assistant, Ivanova criticized the lack of professionalism in refusing her treatment, calling it “unacceptable” and “disrespectful” to dismiss her health concerns solely due to her appearance.
Despite her family’s urging to stop undergoing cosmetic procedures, Ivanova defended her independence, saying, “I’m an adult, and I make my own decisions about my body. My friends don’t mind my big lips and are used to it, so they’re not surprised.”
Her story highlights the rising social and health challenges linked to extreme cosmetic modifications, which can sometimes lead to serious medical issues and social stigma.
