Baloch Citizens Organize Spontaneous Relief Station Near Al-Ghadir Camp in Zahedan

On Saturday, July 14, 2025, amid ongoing widespread community support for Afghan refugees at Al-Ghadir Camp in Zahedan, Baloch residents set up an improvised aid station near the camp to collect and distribute essential supplies to refugee families.

Kokche News Agency reports that a grassroots aid station has been established on its own initiative by caring Baloch citizens.

The station gathers food items like bread, bottled water, fruits, vegetables, tomatoes, watermelon, and other necessities, which volunteers then distribute among Afghan refugee families.

Images and reports confirm active community participation, with diverse supplies being handed directly to those in need.

However, local sources note that as aid flows increase, some tensions and obstructions have emerged. Specifically, rescue forces and armed personnel have reportedly imposed restrictions on vehicle movement near the camp’s entrance, impeding the delivery of donations.

According to local sources, “Rescue units have restricted access to private vehicles near the camp entrance, preventing some aid from reaching the refugees.”

Despite the lack of official support and amidst growing pressure, Baloch citizens have demonstrated extraordinary solidarity and human kindness, once again proving that in times of human crisis, compassion crosses borders, nationalities, and religious divides—standing united to help families in need.
