Qatar Continues Separate Talks with Israel and Hamas, Focusing on Ending Gaza War
Majed Al-Ansari, spokesperson for Qatar’s Foreign Ministry, announced that the country is continuing separate talks with Israeli and Hamas delegations, with mediators focusing on reaching an agreement to end the war in Gaza.
Kokcha News Agency: Qatar is continuing its mediation efforts by holding separate talks with Israeli and Hamas delegations, according to Majed Al-Ansari, spokesperson for Qatar’s Foreign Ministry. Speaking to reporters in Doha, Al-Ansari stated that mediators are focused on reaching an agreement that would lead to an end to the war in the Gaza Strip.
Al-Ansari noted that the parties are negotiating over the general framework of an agreement, but detailed discussions have not yet begun. “It is still too early to talk about specifics, but there are positive impressions,” he said.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson also emphasized that leaking the content of the negotiations is irresponsible and stressed that the process will be time-consuming, making it impossible to provide a specific timeline for achieving results.
