Kokcha News Agency: Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office has officially declared Yale University, based in the United States, as an “undesirable organization.” In a statement released by the Prosecutor General’s press service, it was alleged that Yale has been using funds allocated for activities aimed at discrediting the Russian government.
The statement further claimed that a center affiliated with Yale has been providing training related to protest demonstrations and carrying out activities aimed at dividing Russia. “The Prosecutor General’s Office has recognized Yale University’s educational activities as ‘undesirable,’” the statement read.
The designation of an organization as “undesirable” under Russian law imposes significant restrictions on its operations within the country, including a ban on distributing materials and conducting activities.
