Kokcha News Agency: An explosion was reported in a residential complex in the Paydarsan neighborhood of Qom, Iran, earlier today. The blast, which occurred in a ground-floor unit of the Nasim Paydarsan residential complex, shattered windows in neighboring buildings and prompted immediate responses from firefighting and law enforcement teams.
The head of Qom’s fire department confirmed that the explosion damaged four residential units, with preliminary investigations indicating that a gas leak was the cause. The head of Qom’s emergency services added that five ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and seven injured individuals were transported to medical centers for treatment.
Authorities have confirmed that the residents of the affected unit are ordinary citizens, and there is no indication of any hostile or external involvement in the incident.
