”Harry and William’s feud could spell the end of the monarchy”
Royal expert and columnist Andrew Norman Wilson has warned that the ongoing feud between Prince William and Prince Harry could lead to significant crises for the British monarchy, urging reconciliation to prevent irreparable damage.
Kokcha News Agency – Royal expert Andrew Norman Wilson has raised concerns about the future of the British monarchy, stating that the continued rift between Prince William and Prince Harry could lead to major crises.
Wilson highlighted the deep-seated traumas both brothers have faced since childhood, including their parents’ divorce, the untimely death of Princess Diana, and allegations about Harry’s paternity. He emphasized that these issues have contributed to the ongoing tension between the two.
The expert suggested that the brothers should seek resolution not only through political or diplomatic means but also through personal counseling. “It would be much better for the brothers to make peace than for Harry to write another book,” Wilson said, referencing Harry’s controversial memoir *Spare*, which exacerbated the tensions between the siblings.
Since stepping down from royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan have built a new life in California, securing a deal with Netflix and publishing Harry’s memoir, which garnered significant media attention. However, the book further strained relations within the royal family.
Recently, there has been growing pressure for Harry to return to the family fold, especially as their media projects in the U.S. have lost momentum. Speculation about a potential reconciliation has been fueled by reports that their children, Archie and Lilibet, used the “HRH” (His/Her Royal Highness) title and the “Sussex” surname in their passport applications.
In his column for the *Daily Mail*, Wilson urged Prince William to reconcile with his younger brother, stating, “Anyone who cares about William’s future should want him to make peace with his rebellious, disloyal, and sometimes unbearable younger brother.”
Wilson also warned that the ongoing feud could trigger a process that might eventually lead to the end of the monarchy. “I’m not exaggerating; this fight could one day initiate the process of the United Kingdom becoming a republic, and it could happen much sooner than we think,” he said.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Prince Harry has expressed a desire to communicate more regularly with his father, King Charles, who is undergoing cancer treatment. Sources close to the Duke of Sussex have reached out to palace officials, requesting a “communication roadmap” to strengthen ties with the family.
