Erdoğan Vows to Protect Syria’s Territorial Integrity, Condemns Israel

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has reaffirmed Turkey’s commitment to Syria’s territorial integrity and condemned Israel’s aggression, calling it a “lawless, rogue, and terrorist state.”

Kokcha News Agency: In a statement following a cabinet meeting at the Presidential Complex, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed a range of issues, including Syria’s stability, Israel’s aggression, and domestic policies.

Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey will never accept the fragmentation of Syria, stating, “We did not accept it yesterday, we do not accept it today, and we will never accept it tomorrow.” He described Israel as a “lawless, rogue, and terrorist state” that is pushing the region into chaos, citing the 58,000 Palestinians martyred and over 138,000 injured in Gaza.

Erdoğan expressed solidarity with the Syrian people and government, stating that Turkey will continue to support Syria’s stability. He highlighted that a stable Syria will contribute to regional stability and reiterated Turkey’s commitment to Syria’s territorial integrity.

Domestically, Erdoğan addressed recent controversies surrounding the LGS (High School Entrance Exam) and defended the government’s efforts to ensure the safety and fairness of the exams. He criticized those who politicized the issue and targeted students, stating, “We will not allow anyone to play with the emotions of our children.”

Erdoğan also reaffirmed Turkey’s determination to eradicate FETÖ, the group behind the 2016 coup attempt, announcing that 155,000 public employees linked to FETÖ have been dismissed, with 28,000 reinstated.

Additionally, Erdoğan announced new regulations allowing public employees to work part-time after childbirth or adoption, aimed at strengthening family bonds, and the recruitment of 20,000 new personnel for the Ministry of Justice to improve the efficiency of judicial services.
