Saudi Prince Walid bin Khalid bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who had been in a coma for 20 years following a traffic accident, has passed away, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Kokcha News Agency: Saudi Prince Walid bin Khalid bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, known as the “Sleeping Prince” due to his 20-year-long coma, has died.
Born in 1990, the Prince was involved in a traffic accident in 2005 while attending military school, which resulted in severe brain damage and left him in a coma.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) confirmed his passing, marking the end of a long and tragic chapter for the royal family. The Prince had been under medical care since the accident, with no significant improvement in his condition over the years.
