Extraction of Emeralds Begins in Five New Mines in Panjshir
The extraction of emeralds from five new mines in the Paryan district of Panjshir province has officially begun, creating job opportunities for approximately 100 people.
Kokcha News Agency: The extraction of emeralds from five new mines in the Paryan district of Panjshir province has officially commenced. This development is expected to provide employment opportunities for around 100 individuals.
So far, more than 250 emerald mines have been identified and registered in various areas of the Paryan district.
In addition to these new mines, the process of issuing permits for the extraction of emeralds from other mines in Panjshir is also underway.
Out of more than 1,700 registered emerald mines in the province, permits have been issued for the legal extraction of over 600 mines.
This initiative is part of efforts to boost the local economy and create sustainable livelihoods for residents of Panjshir, a province known for its rich mineral resources, particularly emeralds.
