Iranian President: Regional and Global Relations Will Expand
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the need for both defensive and diplomatic efforts to protect Iran’s interests, while pledging to deepen ties with neighboring countries and expand relations with global partners, including BRICS, Shanghai, and Eurasian nations.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian addressed the nation, stating that the Zionist regime initiated a war that, according to international laws and norms, was both wrongful and illegal. He lamented that such aggressive actions are often justified by major powers in today’s world.
Pezeshkian highlighted the importance of following the Supreme Leader’s guidance, stressing that two key pillars must be active simultaneously: the defensive and security front, where Iranian forces must remain fully prepared to defend the country, and the diplomatic front, which must operate effectively and proactively.
He noted that Iranian diplomats are working tirelessly in this regard, and the government will prioritize developing closer, deeper, and more sustainable relations with neighboring countries.
Additionally, Iran plans to expand its ties with countries it has good interactions with, particularly members of BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the Eurasian Economic Union. Coordination with key partners like Russia, China, and others will also be a focus.
