Approximately 6,000 Iranians Injured in 12-Day War
During the 12-day conflict, 26 provinces in Iran were directly affected, with around 6,000 citizens injured and treated in medical centers, according to the head of Iran’s Emergency Organization.
The head of Iran’s Emergency Organization reported that during the 12-day war, 26 provinces across the country were directly involved in the crisis. Additionally, 37 medical universities and approximately 100 cities faced severe attacks and pressure from the enemy.
According to statistics from the Emergency Operations Center for Health, around 6,000 citizens were injured during this period and were transferred to medical centers and hospitals.
Throughout the conflict, over 1,044 surgeries were performed on the injured, showcasing the preparedness and remarkable performance of the country’s healthcare system. Doctors, nurses, and all healthcare workers played an active, effective, and dedicated role during this crisis.
