Kokcha News Agency: When it comes to the ongoing bloodshed in Gaza, attention is usually directed at Tel Aviv and Israel’s military apparatus. However, behind this visible image stands another figure whose name is rarely mentioned directly, yet his role in orchestrating this catastrophe is far more significant: Donald Trump, the current U.S. President.
From the moment he returned to power, Trump pursued policies that effectively enabled the massacre of civilians, particularly children in Gaza. From moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem during his first term to the so-called “Deal of the Century,” which effectively ignored Palestine’s right to exist, all of these actions laid the groundwork for today’s reality—a reality where the complete siege of Gaza, accompanied by starvation and bombardment, has become part of daily life.
The crucial point is that Trump, as the president of a country that has championed human rights as a cornerstone of its foreign policy, has repeatedly blocked opportunities to stop the bloodshed by vetoing ceasefire resolutions. Each veto was, in essence, a green light to Israel, signaling that it could continue its violence with impunity. This policy has not only made the deaths of thousands of children possible but has also rendered them “justifiable” in the eyes of its allies.
This catastrophe is no longer just a regional crisis; it is a mirror reflecting the moral collapse and the decline of the international order. If the global community fails to hold Trump and his supporters accountable before history, it must be acknowledged that speaking of international justice has become nothing more than an empty slogan.
Trump’s responsibility in this crime is not on the periphery but at the heart of the crisis. He is the architect of global silence and the primary supporter of the machine that buries the lifeless bodies of Palestinian children under the rubble every day. History will eventually record this role, even if global politics today prefers to turn a blind eye to it.
