Trump Administration Increases Reward for Information on Venezuela’s Maduro to $50 Million
The Trump administration has doubled the reward for information leading to the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, raising it to $50 million, as the U.S. accuses him of collaborating with drug cartels and terrorist organizations.
Kokcha News Agency – The U.S. Justice Department, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, announced that the Trump administration has increased the reward for information leading to the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro from $25 million to $50 million.
In a video shared on social media, Bondi accused Maduro of collaborating with drug cartels such as Tren de Aragua and Sinaloa, as well as terrorist organizations. The U.S. State Department had previously offered a $25 million reward for information on Maduro, but the Trump administration has now doubled the amount in an effort to bring him to justice.
Bondi stated that “Maduro cannot escape justice and will be held accountable for his heinous crimes.” The U.S. has long accused Maduro of corruption, human rights abuses, and involvement in drug trafficking, but the Venezuelan government has yet to respond to this latest move by the Trump administration.
