Netanyahu Plans Full Control Over Gaza, Aims to Remove Hamas
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced plans to establish full control over the Gaza Strip, aiming to remove Hamas from power and create a secure environment in the territory.

Kokcha News Agency – In a recent interview with Fox News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined his government’s strategy to take control of the Gaza Strip and remove Hamas from power. Netanyahu stated, “We want to eliminate Hamas from Gaza, liberate its people, and hand over the administration to a civilian entity that is not hostile to Israel.”
Netanyahu emphasized that Israel’s primary objective is to end Hamas’s presence in Gaza and create a secure environment for its residents. He clarified that Israel does not intend to impose “direct rule” over Gaza but rather establish a civilian administration.
Reports indicate that indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas over a potential prisoner exchange deal have reached a deadlock. Journalist Barak Ravid of Axios reported that Netanyahu is now considering expanding military operations in Gaza in response to the stalled talks.
Israel’s war cabinet convened to discuss the possibility of a full military occupation of Gaza, but no final decision was reached. The cabinet is expected to reconvene on Thursday to continue deliberations.
The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian factions has intensified in recent months, leading to a sharp rise in casualties across the Gaza Strip. As Israeli military operations continue, global diplomatic efforts have accelerated in favor of recognizing an independent Palestinian state.
However, the situation remains highly volatile, with no clear resolution in sight. The humanitarian toll on civilians in Gaza continues to mount as military strategies escalate and political solutions stall.
