Kokcha News Agency: As Israel’s military actions in Gaza continue to draw global condemnation, the country has once again witnessed large-scale anti-government protests. Tens of thousands of Israelis gathered in Tel Aviv to demand that the government end the war and bring hostages home.
Protesters warned that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to occupy Gaza would endanger the lives of hostages and lead to the deaths of Israeli soldiers. They called on soldiers to refuse to participate in the Gaza conflict and urged opposition groups, businesses, and academic circles to join the protests against the government.
Call for a General Strike:
Some groups representing the families of Israeli hostages have called for a general strike in protest against the government. Israeli media reported that anti-government demonstrations took place not only in Tel Aviv but also in several other cities across the country.
