Kokcha News Agency: Pakistani security officials announced that an armed attack in Washuk district, Balochistan province, resulted in the deaths of 9 soldiers, including an officer, and left 4 others injured.
The Pakistani Army stated that the attack occurred on the morning of Tuesday, August 21, when armed individuals ambushed Rapid Response Force vehicles in the Basima area.
According to local media reports, six civilians were also injured in the incident, and no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
This attack comes as the Pakistani Army recently announced that dozens of armed rebels had been killed in operations across various parts of Balochistan in August.
