Sayyaf: Taliban on the Brink of Collapse, Unite Now!

Kokcha News Agency reports that during a meeting of the National Resistance Council, Abdul Rab Rasul Sayyaf, a prominent former jihadist leader, confidently stated that the groundwork for the Taliban’s downfall has been laid, and the time for their overthrow has come.

Sayyaf urged all opposition forces to unite and take decisive action against the Taliban. He emphasized that, based on divine and natural laws, the Taliban regime cannot sustain itself. He strongly criticized the Taliban for their suppression and imprisonment of women and girls, labeling their rule as unstable.

Sayyaf argued that the Taliban’s own actions have set the stage for their collapse, asserting that the group cannot withstand the will of the people. He called on opposition forces to seize this opportunity and focus their efforts on the struggle against the Taliban.

The former jihadist leader warned that without unity and practical action, the current situation cannot be leveraged to benefit Afghanistan’s freedom. Sayyaf stressed the necessity of solidarity to end Taliban rule and bring about a new era for the country.
