Egypt and Germany Jointly Condemn Israel’s Illegal Settlement Policies
Egypt and Germany have issued a joint response to Israel’s "irresponsible and unacceptable" settlement policies, calling for international action to address the issue.

“Kokcha News Agency” – Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul, held a phone conversation to discuss Israel’s illegal settlement activities in the occupied West Bank and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s vision of a “Greater Israel.”
During the call, Abdelatty emphasized that Israel’s settlement projects in occupied Jerusalem and its expansionist policies pose a serious threat to regional stability. Both ministers agreed that these policies and statements are extremely dangerous for regional security.
Abdelatty also pointed out that Israel’s actions are undermining ceasefire efforts in Gaza and the prospects for peace. He urged the European Union to take more effective measures against Israel’s escalating steps.
The dire humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip and the latest developments in indirect ceasefire negotiations, mediated by Egypt and Qatar, were also discussed. Abdelatty stressed the importance of ensuring uninterrupted humanitarian aid to Gaza.
