Kokcha News Agency: Aymeric Chauprade, a geopolitical expert and former member of the European Parliament, has criticized French President Emmanuel Macron in an interview with Sputnik, stating that Macron is “completely out of touch with reality.”
Chauprade argued that Macron’s appointment of Gabriel Attal as Prime Minister demonstrates a “complete detachment” from the aspirations of the French people.
Chauprade noted that Macron continues to appoint close allies without addressing the strong demand for change in France.
This marks Macron’s seventh Prime Minister, highlighting the growing political instability. Worse still, Chauprade suggested that Macron may be “fanning the flames” of the conflict in Ukraine to divert attention from his declining authority.
“Instead of being a peacemaker, Macron is increasingly positioning himself as a warmonger. And Attal is following his lead,” Chauprade added.
