Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza Kill 33 Palestinians
Israeli airstrikes in Gaza this morning killed 33 Palestinians, including civilians and those awaiting humanitarian aid, as attacks continue in residential areas and refugee camps.
Kokcha News Agency: Israeli military forces launched a series of airstrikes in Gaza early this morning, targeting residential areas, refugee camps, and humanitarian aid seekers. According to hospital sources and eyewitnesses, the attacks killed 33 Palestinians, including women and children, and injured dozens more.
In the Shati Refugee Camp, a tent housing displaced Palestinians was struck, killing a family of five, including three children. Near the Islamic University in Gaza, another airstrike hit a tent, killing four Palestinians, including children. In the northern town of Jabaliya, an airstrike on a home killed three Palestinians and injured ten others.
The Israeli military continues its bombardment of the Zeytun and Sabra neighborhoods, destroying civilian homes and displacing families. In Sabra, a home was bombed, killing two children and injuring others. In Zeytun, a building housing displaced families was targeted, killing four Palestinians from the same family and injuring many more.
In the Nusayrat Refugee Camp, Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinians awaiting humanitarian aid, killing eight. A separate airstrike on a residential building in the camp killed one Palestinian and injured others.
In southern Gaza, an airstrike on a home in Khan Younis killed a woman and two children, one of whom was an infant. Near the Al-Hilal Al-Sahra Hospital, a tent housing displaced people was targeted by a drone, injuring twelve Palestinians.
The Israeli military has been escalating its operations in Gaza since August 11, with a focus on Zeytun, where it has carried out mass displacements, home demolitions, and killings.
