Kokcha News Agency – In a symbolic protest, a group of pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered in front of the historic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris to highlight the ongoing genocide and famine in Gaza.
The protesters, wearing Palestinian flags and keffiyehs, lay down on the ground to represent the civilians killed by Israel in the Gaza Strip since October 2023. The demonstration aimed to draw attention to the plight of Gazan civilians who have been victims of Israeli military actions.
After lying down for some time, the protesters stood up and chanted slogans such as “Open the gates of Gaza,” calling for an end to the blockade and violence in the region.
The protest comes amid increasing international concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where thousands of civilians have been killed, and the population faces severe shortages of food, water, and medical supplies.
