Heavy monsoon rains in Pakistan have caused devastating floods and landslides, with the death toll rising to 785 and thousands of homes damaged.

Kokcha News Agency – The death toll from the devastating monsoon rains in Pakistan has risen to 785, with 978 people injured, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). The heavy rains, which have persisted for nearly two months, have triggered flash floods, landslides, and infrastructure collapses across the country.

The NDMA reported that a total of 3,526 homes have been damaged, with 577 completely destroyed. Authorities have urged residents in high-risk areas to take necessary precautions as the monsoon season continues to wreak havoc.

The relentless rains have caused widespread destruction, displacing thousands and severely impacting the country’s infrastructure. Emergency response teams are working to provide relief to affected communities, but the scale of the disaster has overwhelmed local resources.
